These Terms of Service govern your use of the Outgrow iPhone app and this website. By using Outgrow, you agree to these terms.
What Outgrow is
Outgrow is a self-guided breakup recovery app. It is designed to help users with tools like a no-contact streak, journaling, mood check-ins, unsent messages, and AI-supported conversation.
Outgrow is not:
- Therapy
- Crisis support
- Medical care
- A substitute for licensed professional advice
If you are in immediate danger or need urgent help, contact local emergency services or a qualified crisis resource right away.
Eligibility and acceptable use
You agree to use Outgrow lawfully and responsibly. You may not use the app or website to:
- Break the law
- Abuse, disrupt, or interfere with the service
- Attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts
- Reverse engineer or misuse the app beyond rights allowed by law
- Use the AI features to generate unlawful, abusive, or harmful content
We may limit or suspend access if we believe the service is being misused.
AI features
Outgrow includes AI-generated responses for emotional support and reflection. AI output can be imperfect, incomplete, or wrong. You are responsible for how you use any response generated inside the app.
Subscriptions and billing
Some features may require an Outgrow Pro subscription.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store account settings.
- Billing, refunds, and related payment issues may also be subject to Apple's policies and terms.
Your content
You retain rights to the personal content you create in Outgrow, such as journal entries and unsent messages.
You grant only the limited permissions necessary for service providers to process AI chat requests and subscription operations when those features are used.
Intellectual property
The Outgrow app, website, branding, visuals, and underlying software are owned by Outgrow or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Availability and changes
We may update, improve, limit, or remove features at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the app, website, or AI features.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Outgrow is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the product.
Termination
You may stop using Outgrow at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or misuse the service.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date.
